I want something that I canrealy abouse while still keeping it in useable condition. Something I can chop, pry, and all that other fun stuff with. I was thinking about the Becker TacTool or the Entrek Brute. I don't really want to spend more than 100 dollars also but I want something quality.

Becker Companion. You still have a knife that will cut but, it is also thick enough to take plenty of abuse.

If you really need a sharpened prybar, then the Becker Tac Tool would do the job.

Take a look at some of the khukuries manufactured by Himalayan Imports. Nothing is thougher, or more fun, then a 1/2 inch thick blade made from forged zone hardened spring steel.

Ditto:D. I have many HI khukuries and they are tough knives. Always like to have one with me when I go out into the woods.
Although, the Becker Campanion is nice too. I have two of them(one as a spare). Used one in the deconstruction of a deck. Did a lot of prying and no damage at all to the knife. You may also want to look at the Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, but that goes a little above $100.

You might want to look at the Ontario line, specifically the Survival Bowie. I've owned one for about 6 years now. Usually retails for around $40. I've read some reports on here about the quality control being a little spotty, but mine was perfect out of the box. Also, some people don't like the handle, but I found it did not hinder my ability to use the knife for several hours. The coating has taken a beating, and is flaking off in some spots, mainly along the edge. I haven't had any problems with rust yet though.

I've got a TacTool and a good friend of mine has a 15" HI Ang Khola. Both can take a licking and shake it off :D . For prying I prefer the TacTool because its straight blade make it easy to apply leverage on the knife, and the 'flat' sharpened tip allows you to wedge it into the tightest joints and cracks. You can even use it as a chisel and pound on the end with a piece of wood. For wood chopping, the HI excels. See which application you'll be doing more and buy accordingly. BTW the TacTool sheath is easily the best factory kydex I've ever seen; secure retention, positive snap-in, no rattles, perfect fit.
