I was at the Spokane Classic Car show and Swap Meet today and found a 112 2 Dot in a box of stuff. Guy wanted $20 for it, I tried to get it for $10, and walked away with it for $15. Its pretty beat up but locks up solid with no blade play. The blade is worn, very dull, and the end of the tip is blunted slightly.

I think I'll take it over to Buck when I get a chance and drop it off to warrenty and see if they can clean it up.

They will do wonders for your 112 if you take it to them. Here's some before and after pictures of an old 112 that was my father in laws. The blade had been broken and reshaped, so the tip was above the liners when closed and you can see that there was an issue with the lock release also. It was pretty banged up and ugly when I sent it in. It almost looked like a new knife when I got it back.

I asked that the blade be replaced in mine, but if you want to keep your original blade, let them know. It looks to me that it could have the tip sharpened a little. It doesn't look like it has been shortened by the blunted tip.

Wow that turned out sweet Plum. That lock release was really out of place:eek:

Colt, I agree with both Daves, Buck will make it like new and if that blade hasnt been shortened, let em buff and sharpen and she'll be a keeper:thumbup:
