The knife I am giving away is a Condor Kumunga that has been stripped, clipped and the handle shaped for comfort. The edge has been convexed about .500 back and it chops great. Now, all you have to do is post a picture of your beater knife and you are entered. ( must be 18, one entry per person, winner will be picked at random.org.) now for the prize......

I have lots of knives that have been used as beaters.

The yellow-handled folder in this photo was carried when I was a mechanic over 30 years ago. It truly got used to cut just about anything and was sharpened on a bench grinder.

I bought this CRKT big dog a few months ago specifically to beat on it. I didn't know if I would actually use it or not but I was going to put it through some hard tests and see if it survived. It was well-used before I got it.

I bought this Byrd Hawkbill to be a beater. My intention was to carry it along with my nicer EDC folder such as the Benchmade 581, and if I needed to cut something that I didn't want to cut with the Benchmade I would pull out the SE Byrd and use it.

The mighty BK-11 has handled everything I've thrown at it.
It's the biggest little knife I've ever owned.

Carried this for the last 4 years at work. it's holding up well considering I use it about ten times a night. The zipper is great with the things I use at work as well. (pallet wrap, plastic retention strapping. bale twine, packing tape and cardboard)

Thanks for the opportunity!

I wouldn't call it a beater, because I don't abuse it really. But it's definitely a heavy user. =]

Thanks for the chance! This would be my only fixed blade, I figured I should give it a shot for being in the woods. =]

Thanks!

thats my beater! after a month of having the delica it developed blade play, and if theres one thing i hate in knives its BLADEPLAY!. so its my beater now. right now its all gunked up with tape adhesive from cutting boxes.

I've got a couple of beaters. One I picked up at a garage sale yesterday specifically with the intent of abusing it.

And then there's my GK&CO Kukri, or what's left of it. The handle fell apart a bit, but what remains refuses to die no matter what I chop or hack or throw it at. It's a keeper!
