Beating an AMS

Hi y'all,
I've been reading on this forum for well over a year without registering. I own 2 big ones (ASHBM & NMFSH) and i love to take them out back and beat them. I am awaiting a new arrival an Aniversary Mean Street. I'm just wondering if the smaller knives are as awesomely overbuilt? Can it take the level of beating a battle mistress?

I wish I would have taken pictures, but I used an AMS to dig my car out of a snow drift. I was spinning on ice and hammered through about 2 inches of hardpack ice and gravel. I had to spend a few extra minutes straightening the edge out, but no chips at all. I was really impressed with it.
 
I own one. I haven't put it through much but the feel of the knife is amazing for its size. I did however drop it blade down on my ceramic tile kitchen floor. Nothing more that a little roll in a very small part of the blade just before the belly. A couple strops on the top of my car window and she is coming out right as rain.
 
I own 3 now and stripped one the other day. Its def going to be a user so im excited to see how it does as well.

Here are the big ones.
 
AMS is a great smaller knife.
Works well in kitchen as well as utility knife for hunting,boxes & cutting string.
 
The AMS is an AWESOME blade. All my tools get thoroughly tested and if they don't break they go with me everywhere, AMS passed :thumbup:.

They all have the same warranty and self experience is my favorite teacher , give it a go and have fun
 
Got a double cut AMS on order from the shop, can't wait! I did read that people worry about rusting with the double cut,, hope that's not the case as I plan on this being a user.

Mine's going to be double cut as well...I'm not that worried about INFI rusting with just a tiny bit of care. My NMFSH has the custom shop satin finish, it's been through a lot and has not shown any sign of rust.

I have owned several double cut knives. The rust has not been an issue. I'm pretty hard on blued weapons, my sweat is more acidic, I've seen no rust on any double cut user that I've ever carried. Hope this helps
 
Thanks ^^^^ putting my mind at ease as well. I own a AMSMO. It's only seen kitchen duty, so far. Good to know I can take it out and not worry too much. Always clean my knives after use, mind you.
