This one was made in Brazil by a custom knife maker (Ismael Bielgemeier).

Blade is 10.5'' forged 5160 carbon steel
Handle is Gaboon Ebony wood with stainless pins
Sheath is made with Water Buffalo leather and Cayman skin.

What do you think?

Boar = a kind of pig, therefore that must be a pigsticker!

It's a beautiful knife indeed. Love the clean lines.

Gorgeous knife! Great lines, very elegant. The sheath is really nice too.

Beautiful, that one is a practical work of art for the belt. It begs to go pigging.

I'd love to own that... or build one. Hell, I'd love to go pig hunting. How many pit bulls you gonna be hunting with? We had a pit bull for approx 2 years til she escaped and got hit by a car. Very smart dogs. Unfortunately smarts can get you into trouble.

Did yo buy it over there or import it? Brazilian artisans work for a pittance compared to American and European knifemakers.

Incredible. I like that despite being a work of art, it begs to be used hard.

How'd you get your hands on this?

That is really something special, Classic coffin handle, modern yet classic, just spectacular
