Beautiful knives (Blackwood content)

I reall don't have the words to describe this pair.

The wood is amboyna burl.

Wow, it seems that a maker comes along with such a unique approach, it changes the the direction of knifemaking. Something like what Terzuola and others did for folders, and what other big names did for bowies, people like Onion and Blackwood might be doing now. These amazing grinds, with almost an organic shape to them, seem to be getting an incredible amount of attention... Anyway, whatever you say about them, they are indisputably beautiful.

Awesome pair, Zach !!! (no pun intended) The Amboyna burl is beautifully colored and flows perfectly with the lines of the knives.
I am assuming the blades are D2, hand-rubbed.
Superbly done, Mr. B., as usual..... :) Have safe journeys to and from the knife Mecca(Blade) :rolleyes:
 
Zach, words like supoib and awesome... might be a start from me. As everyone has already said, and really graceful, superclean. Even if it didn't have the mosaic pins, it would come out looking totally sweet. Congrats to both you and Neil. Top pick ! Regards. Jason.
