Took a 9 day trip thru northeast NV, south-southeast ID, up into the Bitterroots of MT.
My NV home is only 26 miles away from the people's republic to the west, so there have definitely been indicators that Kalifornication is insidiously creeping into NV.
Then just before reaching Elko, I saw this sign by the roadside:
"REPORT SHOOTING FROM HIGHWAY IMMEDIATELY"
with an 800 number to call. For cellular users to report driveby shootings? Gang Warfare?
Nope, the number was 1-800-992-3030. Under that was "Operation Gamethief". It was an anti-poaching message!
My kind of country. Almost pulled over to take the 41 mag and 12" sirupati out of the trunk to put on my belt. The rest of our wonderful country may be going to hell in a handbasket fast, but there are still a few pockets where the land I remember still exists.
