In "The Mummy" (1999) (not "the mummy returns" nor the scorpion king )
There is a two-handed sword that Brendan Fraser fights with. I think it is absolutely beautiful. Does anybody know anything about it?
Info on the web is not easy to find...

Designed and created by Simon Atherton and his shop. Among other films he's done are 13th warrior, all the wweapons for Gladiator, etc.

don't know anything specific besides the name.

can anybody find a nice pic of it?
It was a two-handed broadsword basically, with a handle made of several gem and bone-like materials and a bronze leaf-shaped blade.
It was really pretty and I would love to have one. (with a steel blade)

sounds like this one

im looking for a mummy sword to..the one that the magie (or somthing like that cant spell) uses and ideas?

When you mentioned the film, the swords that first popped into my head were the kopesh/sappara things that the undead guards wielded. I've always liked the look of those!

Actually my favorite in the movie was the curved one that the Madgi used in the battle with the Foreign Legion troops and later with the mummies. I actually got a prop sword from the Movie from Ebay.Certificate of authentic and everything.

i think the HI movie model was modeled after that curved blade :)
