I worked very hard all my life
and as a result I don’t have much
But I do have
beautiful things

When people come by I like to show them my
beautiful things

They often remark my you sure do have
beautiful things

When I died I had many
beautiful things

When I got there I told them I have many
beautiful things

They said yes you did but now you don’t have any
beautiful things

I looked back and was sad I missed my
beautiful things

They told me it was time to let go of my
beautiful things

It was hard but then I realized and let go of my
beautiful things

and you know…it really was the most
…beautiful thing

One of the really neat things in life is to have a couple really beautifull things, and then give them away to a son, a friend, your wife. The smiles are as beautiful as the original things themselves.

The things I have given away bring more joy then the ones kept.

I agree. I've given away a couple of khukuris to the men in my family that I cought the knife nut germ from as a kid. Totaly blindsided them. Never, of course, had seen anything like it. The blade thickness drew ooohs and aaahs. It was fun.
