I swear, one of these days I'll work up the gumption to grab a tarwar. Not today, sadly...

Man that Chainpuri is screaming, I want to live with bawanna. Pick me, pick me but alas still 50 short.
Right length, right weight, right sheath, the planets are aligned.

Actually the beautiful Tarwar is screaming to me too but I'm not listening. Ooommmmmm back ground noise, I can't hear you!

EM...Just kidding! Cant do it either. Can walking dead man be any deader? Loc's doing a good job on them swords! That Tarwar looks nice!

That's a good excuse to go for it. You ain't gonna be no deader when she see's that katana. Might as well earn it. Tell her bawanna said it was the right thing to do. She'll understand I'm sure.

Oh man, that is one beautiful beast isn't it!

Unfortunately it would be scratching a need I already have calamine on. MUST HOLD OUT!!!! waiting for a field use kuhk. If I spend all my money now on a Tarwar when I already own battle swords a-plenty it would mean no money for the knife I need... but wow the stress of looking at it is making me kind of weak in the email button pushing finger LOL. And the Chainpuri is beautiful too, but I already have one of those that I won a few days ago. Yep, Must hold out for the right field use blade.

Resistance is futile Sahvru. Unlike male suitors you can dismiss with the touch of a button (aw the pain) when the sword calls your name it's over for you. Your number is up. Game over. You get the magic Auntie phrase so sweet to all of our ears. "Done Deal".

.... "Done Deal".

OWWWW!!!That hurt! Dont say that so soon and so loud! Go for it Shav! You hadnt bought anything in a few days. Its time!! Hubbies are more understanding than wives when it comes to steel... usually:rolleyes: Well we tried.

hehe, good points guys, but seriously I am a practically toothless shark. Things need me to be a little frugal right now, not to the point of complete denial but I do need to prioritize and if I was to buy the Turwar it might be quite a while before I could get together the opportunity to bite at a field use blade that I actually need should one come up. So even though hearing the <whispers> "D.D. phrase" did indeed hurt. I just can't right now. But DANG!! I look forward to the day such frugality is not necessary, when the gleam of a sword such as this is matched by the gleam in my eye as I open up the shipping box.

Funny I been looking forward to that frugality is not necessary day for well a very long time. I don't foresee it happening for me. Maybe not everybody gets that day I guess.
I believe and sadly have large proof that this is why credit cards were created.

Hey Bawanna! Lets pick on Blue now! Shavru is way stronger than us! Plus he has a new avatar with a cool looking Bahraiv mask! Where did that one come from? I dont remember a three eyed? Very cool!

LoL if I attempted to use my credit card right now I would probably get it rejected insufficient funds  Sorry Bawanna, I just have to believe that there will come a time I can afford to buy just because I saw something I liked without having to balance all the other bills first. <in best blue collor comedy tour voice> "I BELIEVE..."

However at this time I know exactly what you mean, LOL the bank is gonna start bitchin' soon if I don't start paying a bit more off the CC than I put on it each month, or at least pay as much as...

Yes Blue's avatar IS rather striking isn't it? Still think those would give me heebie geebies if I wandered into the living room and saw it while still on low coffee levels though.

That fellow is Jamsran, the Mongolian war god. I definitely see the family resemblance to Bahriav though! It's also exactly why my wife would look like if I bought a $250 sword!

But you know, as I typed $250 I thought "wow, that is a screaming deal"...

For some reason I think of chain saw dude with the hockey mask. Jason?

My son wondered if our house was gonna have a curse on it when I got my Bahriav mask. I had to splain to him exact opposite.

I would like the Tarwar, but, alas, I must replenish my funds. I just need to remember, "patience is a virtue". yea yea, I've heard it before, it makes it no less harder to ignore something that you really want, and it's beautiful to boot.

I'd love to get a Tarwar too. Oh way sec. I just got one couples of weeks ago... Nevermind ;-)

Mine is horn though. I'd recommend today's with its wood handle instead.
It offers a better grip especially if you get sweaty palms in the heat of the action.

Just take a little scotchbrite pad or 320 or 400 sandpaper and knock a little of the shine off. Makes a world of difference.. I thought you just got one of these recently but my memory isn't what it used to be. Also my memory isn't what it used to be.

Well Jamsran is cool! Id put him in my living room any day! I have a batique from Bali with a couple that remind me of this guy but they only have two eyes. The're kind of like the Mona Lisa. They look at you all the time no matter where you are in the room. Kinda freeky to most but I love it.
Yep $250 aint bad attall! Maybe I should get one of them credit cards yall speak of?
