DD...I was going to get the ASTK too, but since we kind of tight on funds for summer vacays, and camp for the kid, I figured I better behave myself, before the wife tears me a "new one"

EMS Lachhu ASTK! Woulda grabbed that 12" AK but it looks like it was stealth sharked

Nice sharking! The pick of the group right there! I really wanted a CAK, and I just can't say "no" to a Bhakta and his fullers.

Dang, that one was stealth sharked too! Oh well. Still waiting on my M-43 from last week, wonder where that is..

That worth sharking for sure.
17 inch 34 ounce Bonecutter by Kesar Lal is sinfully attractive too.

I concur. I don't have a bonecutter neither. I'm still in hawk for that beautiful big bowie from last week.
But I don't have a bonecutter..............................did I mention I don't have a bonecutter?

Wheels turning........................(nothing new there I guess either) duh..

I so love auntie, I received the CAK Saturday in the mail, that in itself was a surprise, who doesn't love seeing a triangle box on Saturday, I tear open the box like a madman (since BF was down, I was already having withdrawal symptoms), and not only do I love the CAK, it was in a leather sheath?! The knife was sold as having no chakma/karda, and no sheath, but auntie had found a sheath for me, and had included it in the package!

I have the handle soaking in a mineral bath right now, but I think I just fell in love with this CAK! I am not a fan of the big and heavy knives, and this CAK is freakin awesomely well balanced, and so very neutral in hand, just like my Rajkumar bashpati 18" 24oz, and Lok BAS 15" 17oz, it is super quick and agile.

I had a CAK once, but I found it kind of clumsy and unwieldy, I was hesitant to get another, but this one was in my weight range, and I love Bhakta's work, so I figured I'd give it a try, boy, am I glad I did! This 16.5" 23oz seems to be my Holy Grail combo.

18" 24oz is just a tad top heavy, and 15" 17oz is like there's nothing in hand (love that though), this 16.5" 23oz feels like you know it's there, just barely, but you also know that you can do some serious work, and/or damage with it too.

Yes auntie hooked me up with a sheath on my last sheathless blem - awesome. Let's see some photos after that CAK is done with its spa treatment:)
