I'll let Ken (kraken) fill in the details.

Have a look-see.....

Dan, is that some of that Damascus steel? Is that stuff usable....like in the kitchen and such without ruining the effect of the Damascus? I've really been wanting to invest in one of the Damascus blades and have it in about a 4" paring knife version. Would that even be a workable blade?

That is one beautiful knife!!

Where can I get me one like that!

could try Paul Binn, doesn't do khukri's, as HI does it better.... lotsa seax's, and other neat stuff to reduce my bank balance (my axe avatar is from him). still want one of the HI Seax's tho. maybe they could pattern weld one? probably cost a small fortune, i'd sell one of my kids to pay for it.

No Bri...that was the other thread MamaV hijacked that way... ;)

this seax is one of my favourites, i found it a long time ago on the web, one day i hope to have one made the same.
the size is perfect, nice an big :D
the handle is a beuty, the steel is damascus, some one here asked is it useable :) sure is has been used for hundreds of years.
i asked for this seax to be posted for you all to admire as it is a work of art. i am sure hi could emulate it,without the damascus blade.
i noticed that they came pretty close with a antlerhorn seax last week for sale.
i would like to see them make this one exactly as here.same handle ect. again what a beutiful blade.
it conjures up scenes of viking raiders, saxons working in the fields, hunting in the forests ect.fine blades have a habit of speaking to you of the ages gone by. :p

Hey, he emailed me these to post too. My newfound skills I guess. I didn't get it till this morning though. I only have computer access at my job. Very cool seax Ken.
