Good Morning RAT forum!
I did a hike with my dog in the morning an took a few photos of the work a beaver (or two) did beside a small creek.
The trees they are nibbling on is beech, very hard and not too small.
The picture shows some of the medium sized trees, some bigger are still in killing-progress...
For size comparison look at the RC-6, the slices taken out by the beaver are very huge. I only was able to cut of peaces of 4x6 mm or so.

Funny thing: As there aren´t to many leaf trees in this area, the beaver family is not really able to build a lodge, so they are only living under ground in caverns beside the creek.
