I have, like many of you have I'm sure, had problems aquiring a Beck WSK. His website is down as you know also. Anyway, does anyone have information on how to contact him or place an order? I am also willing to buy/trade is anyone is so inclined. Thank you

Here is a reply from David Beck.

"Thank you for your request. I am taking orders again & have placed your request on my waiting list. Because of my physical limitations which enable me only to make knives part time, as I'm able anymore along with my current waiting list, you can expect a wait of about a year for the completion of your knife. I wish it wasn't so long but I promise to do the best I can as always. I am now treating all knife requests as orders except that no deposit is required due to the lengthy waiting period. When I get close to being able to start on your order I will contact you & let you know what the completion date would be & finalize the details of your order. At that time if you are still interested in having me proceed to make your knife e can continue from there & get to work.
Also, due to the overwhelming workload my web site has been generating which I am no longer able to keep up with, I will be shutting down my website at www.beckknives.com within the next week or two. So if you notice my has disappeared don't worry, I'm still in business making knives. I just can't justify keeping a site running at my level of production. For future reference, all correspondence should should be directed to the email address provided below where I can personally answer any questions you may have.
