As always, Ethan was the host with the most, and being around good people and a continual camp fire cheered my soul. A big thanks to Ethan for yet another joyous gathering of people. He invariably holds a mighty shindig. Somewhere over on Half Moon Ridge, a bunch of Beckerheads have just stumbled off to bed, the MOTHER OF ALL PORK LOINS having been enthusiastically devoured. I, however, came back a day early to attend baseball and softball games. A little bummed that I didn't try the pork, but I'm sure there will be pictures and reports. Here are a few pics I took till others can post up more complete photo journals.

Great pictures Makes me envious that I couldn't make it.:grumpy:, keep the photos coming
I just live Vicariously through them..:)

Wow. Those are some great pictures, and some astounding looking meat. Hmm, someday I'll be able to get away from the left coast and head out there. Looks like a great time indeed. Thanks for posting those pics!

One year, I'd love to go. I'm in AZ, any plans for a West coast gathering?

Looks like an incredible time. Recognize more than a few folks in those pics...wish I was there.

Every time I go to Ethans gathering I tell myself I'm going to take a lot of pics. Well, that's easier said than done. You get caught up in whats going on and time just flies. But I did manage to take a few. Wish I had some of the grind in, but found myself pretty busy most of that day. This is the forth time I've been to Ethans and this by far was the most fun I've had there. Thanks everybody for everything.

Saturdays breakfast and the shop before the grind in started.

Tradewaters spit was a thing of beauty and was used the entire weekend. I will be making one of this for the family unit very soon.

Hey MM, how did you like the Baryonyx Machete?

Jeremy

It was very cool. It got stuck a lot!! We were chopping on live pine though, I think it would've performed better on harder wood, and vegetation. It was a bit heavy for actual Machete work.

To answer your question: Not very much.
