So this past weekend was the Scoutish Highland Games district camp-o-ree, had a ton of fun, got some pics of my Becker Bag and my new Rat 1, came in second place in weight for height (no pics, sorry), and taught a new Scout some basics of knife care and use (and how to use a hatchet, also no pics of him, as per his request).
So first of all, I'm sorry for forgetting I had my camera until the games were over, they were really fun. But I did get some pics of me in my not-so-scottish clothing with Helga and my new Rat 1!
I used the straps that came with the bag to mount the Tek-Lok to the MOLLE system.
Becker Bag front:

The knife I should have bought first (for folders), the Ontario RAT model 1, pure awesome, folded in half.

Becker Bag on my back (ignore my facial expression, when I go for blank I look pissed for whatever reason....).
Where I used to carry my Gerber Paraframe (sold it Sunday night to a friend who needed a decent blade he could legally conceal carry, he doesn't like open carry):
Before you look at the next picture and notice that I'm chopping a scorched log, we had an idiot camping with us, and he decided after we got the log into the fire pit and before we made a proper fire, he would dump some old gas from a liquid gas burning stove onto the little bit we had built and light it....
