There have been TONS of threads on here about Becker Bags, but we've never actually seen what is on the inside.

I've been trying to figure out what needs to go in my backpack, and this is what I've got so far.

So...It is time to unleash the secret(s).

What is in your Becker Bag?

I'll start...:)

I recently got a new 2013 model Camelbak H.A.W.G. and loaded it up with things that I use a lot, as well as things that seem useful.

Here is what I have (from Left to Right, Top to Bottom).

1st Row
100oz Antidote bladder with hose
MRE
Light weight rain jacket (L.L. Bean)
Shelter kit (contains: 8ft x 10ft Tarp with 4 tent pegs and 30ft of parachute cord)
Platypus collapsible water bottle

2nd Row
Climbing carabiner with a 10ft Rip-cord
Leather work gloves
Note book (with a couple squares of toilet paper inside)
Shemagh
Small Nalgene bottle with metal cup
MSR Sweetwater Microfilter

3rd Row
Camelbak waiststrap (I don't find it to be very function-able)
2 S-Biners
Petzel Headlamp
Paracord Ranger Beads
Red, Blue, and Clear lens for headlamp
6 AAA batteries (for headlamp and other flashlight)
Screwdriver Bits for Leatherman (always on my belt)
2 Bic lighters
6 lightweight tentpegs
Sharpie and pen
Streamlight Stylus Pro
3 extra 9 hour candles for the candle lantern
Compass
2 25ft Rip-cords
BK16
Bacho Laplander
Candle Lantern
Germ Grenade
First Aid Kit

Here Is where it all goes.

The Main Pouch.

The Second Pouch.

The Small Pouch.

It all packs up quite nicely and wieghs about 15lbs (with water).

So Lets see them!
Pics are better, but a list will do:)

thats a nice setuo thx for letting us see11 and i got a few ideas on changes and additions too mine!

very nice.. im still working the kinks out of mine. Im using a Lg Alice but am thinking that is way TOOOO big...

The only thing I have in my Becker bag is........my imagination ;)

I don't have a Becker Patrol Pack or Becker Bag.....yet

Great ideas and suggestions. I am in the process of attaining an original Eagle Becker Patrol Pack with the Alice webbing. I have read all of the outstanding reviews and decided to go for it. I have pretty extensive pack experience with Hill People Gear, Kifaru, Gregory and GoRuck. I like the Tarahumara but it is on the small side for my needs. Recently sold off my Kifaru Express and E&E as it did not work for me. Have a Kifaru Scout but really have not been able to use it. The GoRucks (GR1 and GR2) I own are bomb-proof packs but best for my EDC and travel needs but not the best for the bush. Having lugged around an ALICE pack for many years I am one of the few that does not mind this type of pack. Hence my interest in the Becker; like the ALICE only better and addresses my few complaints with the issue ALICE.

I might be persuaded to participate in this at some point this week, but I'm going to want to see some side by side shots of that Laser Strike next to the 16 to really cement the deal.

Hey Derek,
I had a Laser Strike & a 16. When it came time to let one go the LS went. It's a good, maybe great knife but not good enough to replace my 16. It really came down to ergos. Both have enough blade to handle 90% of what I need it to but the 16 is just SO much more comfortable.

Any other comparisons you want to see, just post it up.

It's amazing how much survival stuff you guys can fit in a backpack and not leave it looking heavily bulged. I don't think I could do that.

I need to actually go through and categorize my pack. I have camping stuff not necessarily survival stuff in it.

I don't really have a pack like that. I've got a regular EDC go-bag, with various emergency things in it:

Paracord, emergency blanket, compass, whistle, multitool (leatherman wave), solar powered charger, flashlight, sunscreen, a little food, and a med kit (bandages of various sorts, antibiotic ointment, painkillers, allergy pills and expectorants, etc). Also a couple spare pistol mags and a pistol. And tampons. Cause sometimes the wife needs em, and they're good for wound care for bullet holes, on the unlikely circumstance that I'd need such. I could probably stand to throw a few more things in, but that's what goes with me most places.

I just thought about this thread earlier today, and decided to bump it back and see if I could get some more input and see what you guys carry.

Here you go Derek, forgot all about it :D

(I got my name engraved on the other side of the Laser Strike, hence the reason I only photographed one side of it)

So, what is a "Becker Bag," you may ask yourself.

Well, I meant it to be whatever bag/backpack you carry often and keep with you, with added Becker content of course.
It could be a survival backpack, EDC pack, a bag/or backpack you take camping, or even a small pouch (or Man Purse, if you prefer :)), just whatever you use.
Lets see what you guys carry!

Got myself a Maxpedition M4 waistpack/canteen pouch for Christmas. I've been tinkering around with it a bit to use as either a hiking bag or EDC pouch. Took it out for the first time today as a test run. Just a short trip out to see my girlfriend and see how I like carrying it.

Here she is, all loaded up. Took the strap off of a laptop holder and attached it using two S-biners.

That's the inside, with storm collar and rear slip pocket.

Here's what was inside. In the main pouch, a spare bandana; in the slip pocket, a tube of aspirin and some first aid stuff: Bandages, alcohol wipes, blister pads, etc. I need to get some fresh bits in there.

In the front zippered pocket and two side velcro sheaths:

Top row: Al Mar SERE 2000, Leatherman Rebar, Fenix E35 flashlight, Smith's Pocket Pal, emergency whistle.
Bottom row: G2 pen, hand sanitizer, chapstick, duct tape, Bic lighter, fire tin, and a deck of cards.

I like how this pouch carries. On the belt with a full canteen it's a bit of a boat anchor, but with the strap it feels much better. There's enough room in the main compartment (especially with the storm collar deployed, rather than rolled inside) for some snacks or a bottle of water or a paperback book or some such, and the expandable top strap lets you overstuff the thing easily. I have a large DMT two-sided sharpener for bigger blades when I use it as a hiking pouch, and intend to get a canteen cup to go along with a Nalgene GI canteen.
