It is a Becker kind of day here in Connecticut, First my BK-10 arrived and soon after the USPS delivered my Becker BK-11CSM.
I love the looks of this blade, I have other San Mai blades but this is the first one where I can actually see the different metals sandwiched together.
It is such a cool little neck knife and the finish is really nice. It is marked BK-11csm with Japan underneath. It is a solid piece of steel to be sure and seriously sharp!!
Now the tough part, Do I just wrap the handle with Paracord or buy Micarta or wood scales for it?

I say, load up some micarta, and take that girl out for a night on the town.

I am leaning towards Micarta, I think it looks the best, I want to keep the bottle opener accessible in case I need it and I am not sure if I like the way a paracord wrap looks on the 11.

I agree, it would look good with some micarta. I just ordered some micarta for my bk11 to try out. I'm planning on using it to help me make my own deer antler scales soon too.

make wood scales to give the knife some extra length then immediately hate them because it covers the bottle opener then mail them to me:D

hey......it's what Jesus would do

 Congrats.

I also like the San Mai BK11 and would like to see a Tweener BK-16 Short Drop Point in San Mai.

I LIKE that version of the -11.

Sir, you have just showed me my next purchase.

You wont regret it, I usually fondle and gawk at a new knife for a day and then it goes into the personal drawer or the sale and trade box but the BK-11 and BK-10LE are still out and being molested with my eyes and hands.
Oh, What a feeling!!!!

Now that would be incredible, I would be bumping people off to get in that line if necessary
