Becker BK-2 Leather Sheath

Hi folks. I'm a new guy posting for the first time!

I just received a new Becker BK-2 Companion and I am really excited about it. I am less excited about the Kydex sheath that came with it. It might be alright, but I'm really not much of a Kydex fan. I have been shoping around for a new leather sheath and was wondering if you folks had any input.

The nicest sheath I have found is from Deal spotting removed

I did find another sheath sold on Link removed violation of forums rules.

Now to my question: What do you think? I am 90% sure I'm going to go with the Skystorm Leather model. Has anyone heard anything about or have any experience with them? I'm always warry of buying things on eBay. Am I about to get jipped?

Okay, I wasn't expecting that, but I re-read the forum rules and I'm gonna try that post again...

Has anyone tried a Skystorm Leather sheath for a BK-2 (I'm looking at the horizontal/scout carry version)? Or anything from that company for that matter.

No worries, there's a few rules to follow and they're easy.

As far as makers, we here at Blade Forums try to support our own, ie, the sheathmakers that frequent BF. That said I cant find anything here on Skystorm so I cannot comment. But, theres quite a few makers here that you can trust, mainly those in the list at the top of this forum.

Congrats on your BK2 purchase, I have been a fan of Becker since he was with Blackjack. Ethan is a good person and he designs a great set of knives. If you havent found it yet, there is a forum dedicated to Becker Knives, a fantastic resource of knowledge both past and present.

Again, we support our own, its the right thing to do.

Check out the Becker forum. Lots of discussion about upgrading Becker sheaths and skystorm has posted a few pics of his work there lately. There are also a couple other very talented beckerhead sheath makers that work with leather.
