Becker BK 2 Uneven Grind

Hey guys, i finally decided to get the ka bar Becker bk 2 from amazon. I happen to be a college student so 2 day shipping was free. Ordered wednesday got it friday. Bad news the grind is off. From tip to end grind is uneven. Near the handle would be about 1 millimeter grind but going towards tip the grind is about 2 millimeters. Also each side of the blade the grind is different which means not matching on both sides and seems like grind angle is also not equal on both sides. Looking at cutting edge face up it seems to veer off center from handle to tip therefore tip is also off. I cant blame amazon, after putting in a replacement request online i got the replacement the day after. So far amazon customer service is excellent. But then the new knife seems to have grind issues also. Seems a bit better but still not perfect grind and seems like someone dropped it on a hard floor as there is denting on but and near choil, i am the picky type so these imperfections bother me a bit. I know that these are survival/ camp knives so they will get beat up after a bit of use anyways. These are $60 knives so maybe i should not expect too much. Maybe the blade being a quarter inch thick makes them hard to grind perfectly. But then i have taiwan made knives although not this thick having almost perfect grinds so i should expect more from these USA made knives. That is part of the sale. I should have ordered 4 at the same time in the beginning and hand selected one and sent 3 back saving me and amazon the hassle. Amazons kept their part but ka bar so far is so so. What are your guys thoughts?
 
I have maybe seen one "perfect" factory grind, its hand sharpened by a person like you or I so perfection is not a normal thing.

Why not sharpen the edge to your liking? Theres nothing special about a factory edge so I wouldn't stress about it too much.
 
My BK-2 angles where off also, I did what Knifenut1013 suggests you to do. I resharpened it and all was good, I even reprofiled it to 50 degree inclusive and I could not be more happy. I'm not sure what sharpening devices you use but I used a Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener http://www.worksharptools.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=90, by using the WSKTS I had it reprofiled in about 15-20 minutes. Even faster if your just sharpening your BK-2.
