Becker BK2 Just Arrived!

I ordered my Becker Bk2 last Thursday and it arrived in the mail today. As of last night it wasn't supposed to be delivered until Friday but the delivery date changed this morning. I must say my first impressions of the knife were really good. I haven't been able to go out and use it but I know I didnt make any mistakes on this purchase! Here are some pictures! (Sorry for the low quality I took them on my phone) :)

Yes I believe it's going to be a really good knife. I have a question though, is it normal for the tang to stick out a little bit on the bottom of the handle? Not where the pommel is but where your finger lay? Just curious

No, just loosen the screws, and realign it, then crank them down good, you're set.

Be careful though, I hear the sheaths are pretty loose from the factory, so make sure you're BK2 doesn't fall out or anything.:foot::D

Also Blue Loctite, thread locker or nail polish to keep the screws from loosening.

My BK2 came in yesterday, and the fugger sliced the tip of my finger open when I ripped it out of the sheath. Any deeper and I might've considered the hospital. No, no pics of it, sorry. I was too busy cussing and not looking to bleed all over my Canon :o

Elite, congrats on the '2, brother. I'm thinking both of ours will get some good use! :thumbup:

Ah that sucks man. My knife was really tight in the sheath and was very hard to get out the first couple of times. Its loosen up a little bit but I will probably need to take out the thing on the right side of the sheath.

Excuse my technical terms "Thing". :D
 
Excellent blade........Its actually taken over and has became my favorite over my BK7

Cool, you got the new-style sheath with the flat thumb push. The Moose was just telling me about those today.

Just got mine on Tuesday...I love it. I actually like the sheath, tight and thin, I'm sure there will be some alterations in the future but overall I'm pleased with it. Already ruined the nice black finish though...looks like I will be stripping it down sooner than I thought.
