Hey guys, I'm kinda new around here and just recently recieved my first becker(the bk2/bk22). I was wondering which sheath (the BK2 or the bk22) is better for modding, and overall the better sheath. I also want to know some good modifications for the sheath. I've looked around for a fair while, and no thread seemed to answer my question. Also, what are some other mods that I could do to my bk2 knife in general

I like the plastic one over the nylon.

The only thing I'm changing is I'm adding a strip if 2" webbing behind the strip so that when I wear the belt on my belt I can wrap the strap around the leg. With that much weight on my belt I like the little bit of extra support along with knowing where the tip is/will/should be at all times.

It's just a standard Esee pouch. I got mine from Grand Prairie Knives because they are driving distance for me. It's mounted with the supplied screws into the holes on 3 holes of the sheath, the 4th one is pushed through a couple of rubber washers to the MOLLE back since it didn't line up with the holes on the sheath.

mine is not the esee one but a generic from the river store it works great and I like it!

The mods look great! Just FYI I just got a Spec Ops combat master short and it fits like it was made for the BK2. Love it.
