I am about to buy a becker bk2 2nd gen campanion. I've studied and looked at reviews nothing but great feed back i was wondering if any of you guy's have had any problems with the 1 gen or 2nd gen knife if you own one so just curious..


..I read bad things on the handle so i will get some micarta handor it

No problems here...I love that knife! The handle materials are simply a matter of preference. I kept the grivory scales on my BK7 for years with zero problems. But the micarta does feel nice. I put them on both my BK7 and BK2. You'll love the Campanion!
 
I own 2 BK-2's and absolutely love them! No problems at all and the handle thing can be fixed easily, cut a piece of bicycle inner tube and slide it over the handle or go for the micarta as you mentioned. Any way you look at it, these knives are fantastic!
 
thanks for the feed back anyone know how much the micarta handles are i was told they were really good but I would like to know the rice if anyone knows. Thanks for your responses

i hope i like it do u know how much micarta handles cost? in usd?
 
get the micarta. you will not regret it. also opt for stainless fasteners w/ nyloc nuts.

pretty much a semi-custom after all that.:thumbup: all for less than $110!:eek:
 
You can also make yourself some Landshark handle scales if you don't want to spend the $40 on micarta, ill also second what 1kimo4u said about getting the stainless steel hardware with nyloc nuts.
 
the micarta handles are amazing all around. BK2 second gen is a great knife.

get the BK11 too for an unbeatable set. micarta for that is worth it as well.

ok i got micarta stainless fasteners w/ nyloc nuts did all of that for $150.00 not bad. thank s for the links and all that stuff...
 
does anyone know if micarta handles are like shatter proof and they won't break
