HI
I just got a BK5 and 15 in not too long ago. The 5 is a highly underrated knife. I was messing around with it in the kitchen and tomorrow I will take them to the woods and put up some pics and another video.

So here is one vid.

Gotta agree with you about the BK5! Just bought one last month and it really is the "sleeper" in the Becker line. A very nimble and versatile blade!

My all-time favorite knife is my bk15. I absolutely love the versatility and ruggedness it brings to the table.

So, I took out my 9, 7, 5, and 15 and brought along a Kershaw Camp 10.

this video shows the BK5 and 15 and my thoughts. I saw some review on a site from a woman who purchased the BK5 as a primary kitchen knife. The site had the stats of the knife, yet she complained about the size when she got it in hand. So, that is what I am talking about towards the end of this video. There is one more video of all the knives mentioned, soon to be up.

I've been holding off on getting a 5 for a while now. These vids have made the decision for me. I'm getting a bk5 as soon as funds come available, or I can find a good trade. Thanks brother!

No problem, I got the idea from guys on here who talked about the 5. I have held blades that were fast in hand, as a matter of fact, Dan Maragni made one and I want another one. It is a totally different design, but the end result is similar. In any case, if you need a lighter weight tool, the 5 is it. I love the blade length and shape, like I said, it allows you to use the whole edge.

I've fallen in love with the 15, It's my fave knife, period. I can see myself doing the same thing with the 5. I think they will make a great combo in the bush.
