Well it's been a while since I have posted here. I have been busy with my city life for the past few years preparing to move and get back to a mre simple life. Well recently my wife and I bought a home aand some property in my hometown (in the country near family land). Before this we spent a lot of time camping and I loved to use my Beckers. Since we purchase the property I have been looking at a few more Beckers to add to the herd. Well I thought I would share a few pictures of my BK6 from a camping trip a few years back. Seeing as many of you guys were not members when I posted these pictures originaly, I thought you all would get a kick out of this.

Please enjoy a Becker in use and shaming another knife.

Taken from my first post.

"The wife and I went for a week long camping trip in Arkansas. We stayed at a state park in a town called Daisy. Our campsite was on the little Missouri River, which was real nice. I broke my Cold Steel the first day (go figure), But my Becker took care of the splitting and chopping. I just thought I would share some pics. If you want and close up pics of where the CS broke let me know and I will try to get some good shots. BTW it broke batoning through some hardwood."

Very cool and welcome back. Those 6s were nice a lot of us can only hope that they decide to one day revive them.

Thanks Side Tracked. Yeah, when the BK6 was not easily replaced I started using my BK9. That BK6 was on every camping trip for several years, then she went back in the box. The BK9 has been the main work horse since, but I am thinking of buying a Ka-Bar BK9 to use from now on. I recently bought a BK4 and my hold off on the new BK9.

That BK 15 is looking pretty good as well.

I'd love to get a BK6.

For whatever reason CS believes the batoning is abuse and should never be done.

Thanks for the repost... enjoyed it. Since the 4 was reintroduced my 9 has gotten a lot less use.... Hope you enjoy the new land and put up some pics after you spend some time on it...

The reason is because their knives breaks. When every other knife comes in they would have to replace it and loose money. Once thing about CS, they don't like to loose money LOL.

Axesbold, thank you for the kind words. The BK4 arrived yesterday and I must say it feels much smaller than I thought it would. Very nice compact package. I plan to give her a good work out this weekend.
