well i have my BK7 just itching to get a handle wrap, any suggestions on what kind of a wrap i should do and how to's on how to do them?

thanks :)

Did you take the handles off the 7 and are planning to wrap it with paracord or something? It doesnt make much sense to me. A wrapped BK7 woult NEVER be as comfortable in the hand as the grivory handles it comes with. Or better yet.. the new micarta handles which are available now. Are you sure you're not talking about the BK-11 Necker? Because that'd make sense.

Schubie, you're here! I saw "BK7" in the title and knew it was you lol

no its the BK7, i still have the grivory handles on, i just find the notches for holding the handle together to be quite uncomfortable after a fair amount of use.

hey THG!

I have seen the use of large diameter shrink tube to cover handles like you are asking about.
The only problem that I see with it is would be the surface of the shrink tube being slippery.
Perhaps a section cut out of a bicycle innertube and stretched over the handles would be what you are after?

If you want a wrapped handle, buy a cheap bicycle inner tube, cut it into a long strip, and wrap it the same way you would paracord. Pull it just tight enough to stay put and feel secure. You will end up with a textured handle that is grippy when wet and easier on your hand when doing hard work. (PS: I do not suggest wrapping with paracord. Yes, it looks super cool, but it will not improve grippyness (is that a word?) and might even make it worse.) (PPS: If "grippyness" is not a word, it should be. So there!)

I used the grip wrap for tennis rackets on my Ritter RSK 2 and it worked great.
