hey guys so i managed to snap about a half inch of the tip off my bk7 and was wondering what i should to to mod it and make it badass lookin any suggestions or pictures would be great :)

yikes! curious as to how such a terrible event occurred?

I would eliminate the swedge and make the upward curve of the edge start further back.....or turn it into a BK7 cleaver.

Try something like this and no one need ever know.....:

Seriously, though....trace it, then just sketch over it until you come up with something that appeals to you. I like the tanto idea....or maybe drop point it and make it more like the 12....or seriously clip it and lengthen out the upsweep of the tip.....

Funny how a borked tip can open up a world of possibilities....assuming you have a grinder and some time, you could make some great lemonade.

Send it to Coyle Outdoors and get it this'ed!
De-ramped, jimped, choiled, chopped, and parkerized. Its amazing! He had a few tweeners too. I'd love to see a 7!
Contact Dex Whithers here...he'll get you right. Helluva guy and helluva craftsman.

Cool pics.

You guys are tempting me to go out and snap my 7's tip.

Make something like this. The best modded Becker to date in my opinion.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! i think im leaning towards a more up swept tip and going for a bowie type design and finding some nice handle scales and a leather sheath. Also Im not completely sure what happened but i was batoning some small logs for a fire and when i was done i stuck my bk7 into a tree stump, i heard a ping and the tip was gone. i don't have pictures right now but i will post some up as soon as i can. This is my first time doing somthing like this so hopefully it will turn out nice i will keep you guys updated as i go.

I broke the tip off of mine , after hand grinding it back to a point with a diamond sharpener and file , I got this.....
