What y’all think? A tweener handle with a dagger style double edge blade. For those Becker Boots.

It would be cool looking and well made and I would want one. The problem with an ultra nice boot knife though is that immediately after ever using it, it'd need to go into the nearest river. Boot knives are really the only application for the Taylor Brands $12-junk-from-China model that makes sense.

^^^ What he said. It doesn't even need to stay sharp all that long.

BUT if Uncle Ethan ever designs a dagger or boot knife, I think it needs a Becker-like handle that is symmetrical. Also, I must say I do like the Ek dagger.

I've thought about getting the kabar neck knife and carrying it in my boot. I think either that or a kobun from cold steel. i'd be interested in a becker though.

I've got the Kobun riding on my right boot as we speak. You may need to bend the belt clip a little so it doesn't bite your ankle though.

Mine kept trying to slide off my boot, so I rigged up some paracord through the sheath holes to tie it down and around.

"Boot knives" tend to be optimized as weapons. Ethan doesn't seem to have highly-weaponized knives in his lineup - most are tools first. Even the 'combat bowie'. That said, a BK-14 would could probably be easily carried in a boot with the right sheath. I like the lack of square corners on the butt for that kind of use.
