So My Brand New BK9 meets up with a can of Jasco 15 Minute Paint Remover...
Then it meets my $32.00 Harbor Freight 6" Buffer Packing 8" Wheels - 1 loaded with 600 Grit.
The other used for Final Edge Polishing with a "Stick of Black" compound.

So Now - What Companion Knife fits best in the secondary sheath slot?

Made in USA Razor Sharp American Made 1095 Gorgeous Goodness!!

Sharp looking knife, gotta luv the 9!

You did a good job, nice finish and edge.

The bk13 was made for the front pouch/sheath.

Nice job! For a companion you may look into the 11, 14 or 24. Any of them should fit that pouch comfortably.

Stainless - Great Idea - Thanks!

Thank You Cold One for the BK13 direction, too!

"Hello ladies, my name is 9. So. What are you going to do to me Jassy, you hot little stripper you?"

"Well first of all, I'm going to take off all those black clothes, then I'm going to introduce you to my sexy girlfriend Buffy and she's going to polish that long, thick... blade!"

"Mmmhm, let's roll baby.."

Zactly!!

Thank you all for the Companion Choices.

Leaning toward the D2 BK24.

Hahahah

That's a dandy Niner!
That edge looks very nice! Might scare the hair off a grizzly bear!

I'll second the SS hardware. And Nylock nuts if you can find them.

Yeah sorry about the gutter talk folks. When I see the words paint stripper I start thinking of painted strippers and then my mind deviates to things it shouldn't deviate to..

Anyway, sorry for the thread drift Storm72.. You got a real nice blade there buddy. Looks crisp. You gonna try any metal mods or scale swapout? Whatever you do, it already looks awesome. Good work mate..

Springy..

ETA: forgot to add, I see that you mentioned the secondary 'slot' in the front. Initially it was made for the 13 and (I could be wrong here) I don't think the size has changed. I tried cramming an 11 in there once and found that it was too thick. Now IF you just meant the pocket then I believe you shouldn't have any trouble putting an 11/14/24 in there but the slot itself is a smidge too small. If I'm wrong somebody please correct me..

No Worries About The Thread Drift!
Luv It.

Scales - Been Eyeballing the T.K.C. Versions - Blue / Black or Orange / Black G-10.

Thanks BK for the intel RE Front Slot. If the knife I choose does not fit safely in the existing plastic slip - I will have to modify / adjust again!
