Alright people, yeah, I get it, it has been dead this weekend. Lotta holiday stuff going on, the weather was finally nice here, and a good deal of us were able to get out and enjoy some good 'ole dirt time. Don't know about everyone else, but my weekend saw some much needed house work, an all day cookout, breakfast on the creek after a 1.25 hike in, and some quality time spent with the boy going over knife safety and usage.

All that said, the chatroom will be moving to a new webhost here in a couple of days. There is a better than good chance that I will not be able to migrate everything, so you will more than likely need to reregister to get in. There may be a couple days of downtime as I haven't found a webhost I like yet for the right price. I will post something here when I get it all sorted out and everyone can go reregister. If I find the right webhost, we shouldn't need to mess with it anymore after that. And I might even upgrade the chat software to a more robust version with more features.

With that happening, keep in mind that a good deal of us are spread all over heck and tarnation, and the times we get on tend to vary. I know that I see the majority of people in the evenings, up until about 11:00 PM eastern, so keep that in mind when you are looking to get in the mix with the biggest batch of people. Before this weekend, the last two weeks have actually been the steadiest as far as regular usage, and frequently had several people in the room.

For those that have never been, it is a good place to talk to your fellow knife lovers. Anyways, for now, that is all. Will post more here once I start to get things moving.

I like to go in at off-peak hours and hang out by myself. Very quiet and relaxing. :D
 
New hosting purchased, waiting on nameservers to propagate. Chat will go down at that point, sometime in the next 2-72 hours. Should go back up pretty quick after that, provided I catch it when it happens. I *think* I have it figured out to where no one will have to re-register. Maybe. No guarantees.
 
It will be at the same location. Nothing should really change. If everything goes right, it will go down for a bit, then come back up a few minutes later like it never left.
 
Also if people want to go hang out in there now that is fine. It will give me a good way to know when it stops working so I can go finish the transfer.
 
Well good on ya D. I like the chat. We really need more people though. But heck I guess nadz would just run them off.

The old webhost are being d-bags about the nameservers, so I am currently in a shouting match with them over it. You guys getting issues when you try to log in? Any chance i could get a screenshot?
 
Tell those bastids that Guyon is about to infract them.
 
They are telling me it will be about 24-72 hours, which is BS as every other registrar I have dealt with has been able to do it in minutes and then propagate out within hours. Not too happy right now.
