Becker Collection: Which direction next?

Hey guys. Sorry about the crappy cell phone pic. The snow was blowing right when I took it and made it blurry.

Anyway, this is what I have right now. I use the BK2 the most, with the Necker mostly riding in my wife's car. The BK9 rides in my work truck. I use it mostly for cutting brush and tree limbs that can be in the way of where I need to get to, like power poles, transformers, etc. (I'm an electrical contractor).

The BK2 is just awesome, and the new Gen 2 BK2 has drawn my eye, but I also don't have a BK7. Just wondering what direction you guys would recommend for me. Really don't have a NEED for a new knife, but you guys know how it is with knives. :D

I'm the happiest when I know there's a knife in the mail on it's way towards me.:)
 
I'd suggest a BK7 if for nothing else than to smooth the transition between your 2, and 9 in the picture!:D
 
BK-7.
EsKabar (I think the Izula scales are worth the $$).
BK-5.
BK-3.

Then you can start following Bladite around and see if he drops a Machax out of his pocket.
 
You must get a BK7, love will be on its way in the mail in know time.....
 
Well.... why not get the BK7 to round out the collection. But, also don't forget your culinary side and order the BK5. And yeah, there is something that's just different and better about the days when there are new knives expected in the mail. :D
 
I've been looking at the BK7. Anyone got some pics of it with the micarta handles?

I'll check the pic thread.
 
Cool pic - I kind of like the blowing snow thing you have going there. If it were me, the next would probably be the Magnum Camp - for something completely different.

I actually been thinking about picking the camp up myself.....

for some damn reason I always forget about this knife
 
Nice! I've got a -9 on the way and I'll be in your same situation. I think I'm gonna go the -5 route though.
 
I used my BK-5 for a while today, and I just might want to change my answer...
 
From that base, I would go for a BK5 or a BK7. I have a BK7, no BK5, but I'm going BK14 then BK5.
 
Of all the Becker lineup (new and old) the Brute and the BK77 are my two favorites. Those two knives are as near to the heart as anything I own.
 
I've always loved the BK9, I just need one signed by the man himself....

My BK7 arrrived today. Just initial impressions right out of the box are very favorable!

Suprised by the weight. You pick it up and it just disappears in your hand.

Fit and Finish are perfect. Came very sharp.

I don't have any outdoor excursions planned. We are in the middle of a blizzard at the moment, so it might have to wait until 2011.

Can I wait that long?
