Becker Crewman ?

I'm one of those crazy people who doesn't yet own a Becker but do drool over many of the past and present models !

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone knows if Ka-Bar has any plans to reintroduce the Crewman ( was it the BK10 ? )

I love the look of that knife but they seem to be remaking all the standard models except that one or am I mistaken ???
 
Yeah, apparently they sold well enough on the limited editions that Ka-Bar is re-releasing them.
 
I have no idea yet, someone else might. In the Ka-Bar subforum, in the "Ask Tooj" thread it was brought up. I have a few BK10's. Damned good knives!

I think you will like it Pit based on the knives I have seen in some of your threads. I like mine just need to use it more. The 11 /24 /16 are always at hand.
 
Crewman... I got one of them! It's a GREAT blade, when I got it, it was RAZOR sharp. It's been used a bit since then :D

I really can't wait for the 10 to be re-released.
 
I'm very excited for the BK10. I read the who Ask Toooj thread and he said they would be officially announced at shot '13 and would hit shelves sometime between then and early '14 at the latest IIRC. So at the most we should be able to get are grubby paws on them inside of 18 months but probably sooner. Hopefully before July '13 when I'm going back up to Oregon for a month to do some camping and visit family.
 
I paid $42 bucks back in the day. To this day, it is the greatest value of all my gear purchases. It has helped me in field trips to the boreal forest in Ontario, the Adirondacks, the Catskills, the AT, the Green Mountains of Vermont, the Poconos, the Cascades, the Franklins in Texas, the Olympics, and even some of those mountains near you in BC, Pitt. Its a trusted friend.

I'm a bit of a BK10 freak. I have another LE BK10. Now I have to get a Ka-Bar one now...:)
