Finally found my second home. This place is awesome, a wealth of knowledge and Becker heads! I've only owned two BK&T's ; the Crewman and the Machax. I've carried both in Iraq as a Marine Infantryman and while I own many knives, the Beakers are my favorites hands down. I'm using this forum to help me decide on some from the K-Bar line. Ethan Becker you are a GENIUS!
I sold my first Machax on my departure from Iraq the first tour, around '03 and have been frantically trying to get it back until recently. After ebay searching over and over I finally came across a new in the box Machax, placed my bid and won!
The Crewman is just a great all around utility model no matter what I'm doing. The only issue I have with Beakers is that, between the ones I own and the ones I want to own they'd be too damned heavy to carry all at once .

Hey man, park in the yard and come on in the house. Good to have you on the forum.

Welcome, Murph, to the Becker Forum, and Bladeforums. Glad you're here.

Thank you sincerely for your service, I'm glad you made it back.

Beckers are the real deal, for sure, and so are we.

Stick around, and hang out, nothing like have another voice in the choir.

Once again, welcome.

Moose

Welcome to the Asylum! We got Machax's making a comeback and for those that get their Beckerhead number, runor is there is something special in the works to get us some unique BK10's too. Plenty of time to get your number and get in on the goodness!

And like Tha Moose said, thanks for your service!

Welcome.
Take off your assless chaps and stay a while.

becker cult isn't off topic :)

machax is the way to go!

welcome

Hey man, that's interesting that you carried a Machax while in service. I kind of get the impression that Iraq is a dusty desert... was the idea that you would use it as a weapon, or did you end up having a lot of chopping tasks that it worked for?

welcome to the forum/addiction and thanks for your service!

You're new here so I'm gonna cut you some slack, this time. You unknowingly broke a major cardinal rule, by not posting a pic of your Crewman and bikini shots of your wife/girlfriend.

It's cool man I'll give you till the end of the day.

Welcome to the forum, becareful here you might start doing crazy things....

Welcome to the sickness brotha!! Kick off your boots and put your feet up. First beer is on me. ;)

I have assless chaps. I like assless chaps. If you want me to post pics of the assless chaps. PP me $5 per pic, or $10 not to post it.

:D

Dude, within 24 hours, that picture will be so Photochopped it'll make your butt cheeks spin.
Let me go see if I can count out $5 from my quarter bowl. Loose change will do, right? Or do you require singles? :D

Welcome Murphnuge!

Remember, you can't wear assless chaps w/o fingerless glove.
