Becker ESEE kitchen knives, series 2?

I have the series 1 Becker ESEE kitchen knives and really like them. I had originally heard there would be more sets available. I see now they are showing discountinued on ESEE's website. Can anyone confirm I will never be able to purchase a matching pairing knife to go with my set? 8 (

Yeah, I would have liked to see a paring knife, a bread knife, maybe a cleaver.
I picked up a spare set of Series 1 though. At less than $13 a knife, they're a steal right now.

I put series 1 to work in a professional kitchen behind the Sushi bar, they work well.

Why are they done, relationships break down or something?

Esee doesn't have the marketing structure to support kitchen knives. They are made for a different class of people then knife knuts.
