Well, there it is. Thought I'd get a little thread going about your trail dogs, or whatever other animal (or kid) you bring on the trail. I know this is kinda more a general topic, but this sub-forum seems more like a little community of it's own so I though I'd put it here (required thread starts for BH number had nothing to do with it:rolleyes:)

I'll start off with my dog, Lucky (that's the kind of name you get when you let a kid name the dog). He's an 8 year old weimaraner, been through quite a few rough patches, put he's kicking better than he has been for awhile.

Sorry for the shoddy cell pictures, I'll be back out tomorrow and I'll add a few with a real camera, throw up a becker picture too.

Thanks,
Cole

No Beckers here yet, but these are the dogs. The older one loves camping and we pretty much let him do his thing. He has logged many a mile with me and my roommate(the guy in the pic).

This is my chubby trail buddy. He's a Puggle. (Pug and Beagle mix) We recieved him from a friend about a year ago. His previous owners were loosing their house and the dog would remain in a locked kennel for days, perhaps as much as weeks at a time with no human interaction. He was kinda spaz-stick when we first got him, but he's a really good dog now. I think this is the first time he's been out of the city and off the leash, because he cant find a trail for anything! He'll learn im sure.

Zeke trailblazing.

Will have to pack more water when I bring him. He drank most of my 2 liter camelbak on this trip.
