A big thanks to Ethan for having these contests and for being so generous. I feel so lucky to have won and to have this new bag. Thanks so much!

My Becker Field Bag arrived from the Dusting off the skills challenge and here are some pictures for you to enjoy. I have not had a chance to use this bag yet but here are my first impressions.

From what I can tell this bag is really well made. Every seam is sewn well with no bad stitches. The bag uses YKK zippers and paracord zipper pulls. The only thing weird is that there is no logo or tag anywhere to be found. Maybe when the bag is available for sale there will be something to identify this as a Becker design.

Here are some pictures. If you guys have any requests for specific pictures just ask.

The bag open with a Beckerhead bottle and a field guide for a size comparison. Yes the bottle fits fine in the bottle pouch.

Showing the inside and the pouch that holds the BK 16 inside the bag.

The back of the main compartment has different sized pockets for organization.

A small pouch on the opposite side of the water bottle pouch.

The back of the bag has a hidden Velcro pouch just below the loop handle. a small zippered pocket and some webbing loops.

The hidden pocket.

I also got a BK 16 from the contest from Ethan. I can't wait to use it in the woods.

Thanks Ethan!

Looks great! I think you did a pretty good job covering the many aspects of the bag, thank you.

I'm really excited about these. Thanks for all the detailed pictures and sweet 16. I really like that hidden pouch. Looks big enough but not too bulky. I have a couple of messanger type bags that give me back problems after carrying them around all day because they have so much space I'm temped to stuff way too much stuff in them. I bet I could strap my BK9 to that molle webbing on the front when I go to the woods. Enjoy it copperhead!

where ma bag! ma bag! i aint't got time for this! nobody got time for that! :)

good review, i'm sure we'll be seeing more of this exciting bag soon!

Congrats man! That's a great looking bag! Can't wait for these to become available!

Dang COPPERHEAD88,

Forgive me for my "man" comment. Had a few to many glasses of wine and I posted without thinking.

What I meant to say was "Congrats gal!" I remember seeing your post and was thoroughly impressed! Hard to compete with what you did! You definitely deserve the win for the contest! Congrats again.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try and renove the foot from my mouth.

look for the secret pocket, ethan always puts some herb in there

chimichura usually :> but sometimes he likes garlic. best find it before it funks up :D

Nice pics of a nice bag! Looks like just the thing to carouse the town with, assuming they'll be for sale for we, the unfortunate, in the not-to-distant future.
