The Becker Field Bag was my choice to take to the Philippines as my go bag. Here are some photos of it in action. It served my purposes perfectly.

On a bus in Manilla.

More from Manilla. The city smells like the US did back in the 1970's. Lots of car exhaust.

Crashed on the floor of the airport in Taipei. Long flights are too long.

When I was able to use my hammock for sleeping, I kept my trusty field bag off the ground by use of a beener.

Durable enough to be stuffed into the back of various vehicles.

One of the airplanes I rode on was to Taipei. It was a Hello Kitty airplane. For real. With Hello Kitty everything all the way down to the Hello Kitty barf bag. (and toilet paper)

And finally, the coup de grace!

Nice pics, it seems there are still people out there willing to help others

Thanks for sharing these with us. Makes me wonder . . . what did you do with your stuff before you had a Becker Field Bag? :)

The effort you're making to help those unfortunate folks is very worthwhile.

Thanks!

i worry about traveling with my bags, as normally, i have lots of THINGS that airports don't like, so i strip them out. i have a fear i'll forget... heck, even going to the wrong State. oops.

maybe i need more bags, labeled for safety levels? :D

Nice! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for taking the time to go and help those in need.

That last one is really sweet in a weird way.
I'm glad that you're doing ok and everything went well.
Thanks!

Thanks for the pics and kudos to you for pitching in.... I need to look into this bag a bit deeper.

OK I did some research and this looks like a sweet bag! At last something that is designed for every day use and not a war zone. I know I am late to the party on this item but by coincidence I am need of something just like this at this time.

My question to you is, how does that nylon feel to the touch? I know this is a slightly odd question, but some of these nylons can feel extremely abrasive and stiff (Maxpedition) and others quite soft and pliable (Spec-Ops). I prefer the latter in this type of rig.

Nylon is surprisingly soft and pliable. You will like this bag.

Very nice. Looks like you and the bag had a lot of fun. Is the strap grippy, or does it tend to slide off?
