Becker-friendly sharpener?

I'm interested to know what sort of stones and sharpening sytems etc you guys use for your Becker blades.

I'm gonna get a BK10 Crewman and I want something to keep it sharp with. Something small enough to carry in the field and something that costs less than the knife would be nice!

Any opinions, suggestions and advice welcome.

I would suggest a folding diamond hone for a field expedient sharpener. Try to find one that fits into the pouch on the sheath.
A medium diamond usually wont give you a razor edge, but it will give you a quick, toothy edge and you don't have to worry about breakage as if it were a stone.

Ditto. For field use diamond stones are the best. You can get double sided dia-folds from DMT for about $30. I would suggest a med/fine combination, that should allow you to get a good edge even if it's been damaged.

Another vote for DMT here. I would suggest the credit card sized coarse Dia-Sharp for field sharpening. These cost around $10 in the US and will fit in the Becker sheath pouch.
