I just wanted to inquire if there are ever gatherings in the upper midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc.) areas.

I'd love to partake in one of the gatherings, but many of them are just a bit too far.
 
You should talk to AverageIowaGuy and see about putting something together.
 
We had a little one at 1066viks N of Topeka KS but Im good with WI or MN or any Midwest spots
 
Sweet - let's keep this on the backburner and kick around a few dates/locations going forward. Maybe we can coordinate something this summer.

I'm a homebrewer, so I could bring a 5g keg of some tasty brew.

Just checked my schedule, I'm free those dates.
 
Sounds great to me! I wanted to get to 1066's, but hunting conflicted with it this year. WI or MN would be great!
 
Wisconsin would be killer!Isn't there some nice parks/forest around the dells that would be a nice little meet spot?

There are a lot of state parks in the area. Devil's Lake State park is nice, but could be hard to get sites together. I know there is a state park with a public shooting range, but can't recall off the top of my head which one.
 
This is sounding quite viable. If any of you have a specific place that could work (that allows grilling, camping, drinking, and some marksmanship), please post it on here so we can get the planning under way.
