I was getting ready for a golf outing and needed to change my golf spikes. Those da%#ed things wouldn't come off to save my life with the usual spike wrench so it was time for my trusty BK14 to come to the rescue.

The convex sharpened edge on that wonderful little knife cut clean through the spikes and picked out enough of the embedded thread until I could twist the remainder of the threads off the shoe. It never ceases to amaze me what that blade can do.

Now I'm good to go upnorth for the trip.

Sadly, I think I get more woods time when I play golf than I can get outdoors lately; maybe I'll combine both hobbies by strapping the King to the golf bag so I can clear brush in the woods whilst chasing golf balls?

I've had to do the same thing. I quit playing about a year ago for various reasons. The last few times I played I took a Zebco 33. When I got bored about 5 holes in I threw a line in one of the hazards until the other guys finished, lol.

After I lost all that weight a couple of years ago, I found out I could swing a club again.
Went out with a colleague a few weeks ago after a long break and broke 90 on a short muni. I was happy.
The key? I hit maybe one pitch shot. Everything within kicking distance of the green, I bumped and ran or even better, putted!
