The more I handle my Beckers, the more I’m convinced Ethan’s hand and mine must MATCH!

I was putting the BK-16 and BK-18 through some tests against a new SS Garberg and the thing that kept popping up was how well the BKs fit in my hand better no matter what grip I was using! They were more comfortable and indexed way better than the Garberg.

The grips on the large BKs are what attracted me to the line in the first place, they FIT my hand! I’m glad that this keeps getting reinforced with all renditions of the collection!

I've wondered several times how both the tweener and large scales were developed.

They not only fit my hand but they stay comfortable when working with the knives.

I wish that something similar was worked out for the BK14.

Possibly something like a BK14 with 1/2" or 3/4" longer tang along with the tweener
type scales. Hint, hint.

you mean something like the knife connection's extended eskabar scales?

I was gifted a SS Garberg on bcusa. I can’t think of a single situation where I’d choose that over my BK16. I’m not a fan of the Garberg handle at all. I love the handle on my 16.

I like how the liners look! What was used to make them? Did you do them yourself? Thanks!

Thanks..... yes i made them myself. I dabble with making things, and I'm a master tinkerer..... haha.
I believe they are .050" thick brass.

I love the added weight it helps keep the knife in your hand.
I've done something similar to my BK62, and it really compliments the knife.

Crag the Brewer Crag the Brewer … Looks great!

It’s amazing how far a simple, ergonomic handle can go toward distinguishing itself from the competition. I got my first Becker knife in-hand about two weeks ago, and my initial thought was “Why doesn’t everyone do it like this?”
That kind of thinking caused this...and two have been added to the family since this pic was taken! (BK-2 & 21)
