Hello. I've noticed that the handle material on the Becker line has been called Grivory, Zytel and Ultramid. When I searched these terms, they are all described as synthetic polymers (Nylon) which use polymides, made by different companies. Grivory and Zytel specifically are described as 'thermoplastic polymodes'; the Ultramid description just says 'polymides', though it may also be a thermoplastic polymide. Does anyone know if there is actually a difference between the three brands, other than the names? Have they gotten better, gotten worse, or stayed the same over the years? I ususally end up getting Micarta replacements anyway, but I'm curious if the new ones (Ultramid) are better than the original Grivory (if I remember correctly, Grivory was the first, then Zytel, though I'm not totally sure about the order.) Thanks.
