I am going to order a set of micArta scales for my BK2 and I will have a extra set of grivory scales. I was thinking I have A cold steel bolo machete that I removed the handle from because it just did not fit my hand. I was wondering as I have never rehandled a knife or machete before could a those scales be put on the machete? If so I think it would be one comfy machete.

I think you're on the right track, jamaljahda. I think that the Becker scales would make a great handle for a machete.

Things to keep in mind, though, would be a.) is there enough steel where you want to attach the scales, and, b.) do you have the proper equipment to drill the necessary holes?

Keep us apprised of your project, and take all kinds of pics for everyone to see.

You know, I got the same setup, BK handles and CS Kukri that the handles sux on. I will be very interested to see how this turns out. Thanks jamal. Moose

Let us know how it goes. The handle on the CS Bolo is even worse than the Kukri. Sounds like a good idea.
