dont like the shape or design of the knife though

It looks like a BK10 that was re-ground and re-profiled to me. Even has a bit of the thumb ramp left.

looks like old estaloc handles, mike franklin is the maker of the Hawg line, known maker.

seems like a reasonable thing to reuse handles.
