A few Beckers exchanged hands at our house this year.

I gave my son my second BK-62 as he liked it so much.

I received a couple of Beckers in a forum purchase, a BK-2 and a BK-10, both with Micarta scales. I’ve taken a liking to Micarta on Beckers.

I already had one of each of those models, hence, I doubled up on those.

I asked my son if he liked them and he had a liking for the BK-10. The newest arrival was stripped and he prefers not having the coating, so he received the BK-10 as well (I put the micarta scales on my BK-10. LOL!)

E never nailed it down - he had 6-7 designs but him and esee never settled on which 4 to use.
My guess is the original set didn't sell fast enough so they opted to not gamble on them.
Or they weren't able to produce them in big enough lots to interest Cabela's or Bass pro

Sad thing is - if they had done any advertising beyond depending on the distributors, the kitchen set would have taken off

That’s too bad.

He never said.
I suspect he got tired of all the different things he had going on - he still does shows like blade and shot, but he stopped posting here about the same time he started the process of handing joy of cooking over to his kids.
