I ave been looking at this knife an rely like it, it looks like a good all around knife .

Does anyone have anything good/bad to say about it? Pointing me in the direction of a review would be cool!

Very thick blade, making it rather heavy for its size. Seems indestructible. I did not care for the sheath that comes with it, so I got one from Eric at onscenetactical. If you are thinking about a BK2, just remember that its going to be sorta heavy (for its size).

RC5 being "better"? I don't see any objective evidence of that. Different, yes.

I'm with Powernoodle on this, too. Sure, RAT's are good knives, but so are Beckers. As far as the RC-5 being a better knife than the BK-2: bull (IMHO). In all honesty, there's not all that much difference between the two. They're both tough as nails heavy-duty knives. Neither one is going to break on you when you need it most. The differences are that the RAT has a different handle and, arguably, a better sheath. It also costs almost twice as much as the BK-2. Lifetime warrantee? Yes, and it looks much better on paper than the Ka-Bar warrantee. In actual practice, however, the Becker works almost the same. I have never seen Ethan and Paul fail to make good on a Becker that had a problem, even on one that one jerk kept sending back for "cosmetic" reasons. He/she/it (never really determined) was never pleased with anything, no matter what Ethan did, and couldn't understand why the fit and finish on a Becker wouldn't (for her/him/it) match the fit and finish on an $800 custom. The Becker is a tough user knife meant to be, well, used. Take it out and beat the heck out of it, and it'll beg for more. If you're after "pretty," get something "artsy" and lock it in your safe. Becker's work for a living.

BK-2 is THE deal for it's price.
I've had one for almost a year, and I've beat it with a hammer. It always comes back for more.

Another vote for the BK2. Probably the best value out there when buying 1095 by the pound! :D

ordered a bk9 today since i do'nt backpack much anymore & wanted something to beat mesquite & cedar trees with . in texas cedar & mesquite are considered trash trees & sometimes we blow mesquites up with the 356 win. 250 slug. the thorns on mesquite can penetrate tractor tires. if you are'nt from tex. its hard to imagine a thorn going into a 200'000$ tractor tire.
