LOTS of inside jokes. Just roll with it....stick around and sometimes things will make sense, and others...well thats why we have beckers, to take out our frustration on the woods

Well, some of this I can answer (kinda) for you, and others of it I'm still not sure whats going on, because I'm fairly new too.

The zombie stuff is a pretty worldwide thing actually. Its generally a kind of hypothetical survival setting that people really found interesting. If you look around on TV and billboards and things, you'll likely see some zombie themed commercials and ads. Now, in the Becker and Kabar forums, it has additional meaning because Kabar actually makes a line of knives they call the "Zombie Killer" line. The name came from a joke about how these blades were the kind that you might use to defend yourself from the zombie hoards if you ran out of ammo. The name stuck, and now we have official zombie killing knives. In all actuality they are great budget knives, designed after old models (most from WW2 if I remember correctly) and then modernized. Hope that helps with the zombie part.

And about "FOR BARLOW!"... Its an inside joke that started in the beckerhead chat a few months back (from what I can tell). It has basically been transformed to mean something super redneck-ish (not sure if there is a politically correct way of saying that term, but I mean no offense). An example is something like a pontoon boats made from construction foam and a chair duct taped to it. Thinks like that.

Thats about all I can figure out for now, but hopefully it helps you out a bit :). Now... to stay on topic...

Please always remember to remove all faucet hardware before setting a trap like this. Thats how accidents happen. and usually a double basin sink is only recommended for experianced trappers. please do try this at home. and take pics, we love pics

The funny part, is that I took that photo today in front of my apartment for one of mooses contests. I took the photo, and immediately started laughing, because the only thing that I could think of was "FOR BARLOW"

That being said, I'm not from barlow...

I would just like to point out that the photo taken here was for demonstrative purposes only, and that no barlowians were harmed in the making of this trap.

If the trap were to be made fully functional, all sink hardware would be removed, and the drain holes on the bottom would be well sealed, so no critters would be able to escape the trap.

And once again, we recommend that novice urban trap makers start out with a more basic model, such as the single bathroom sink version, instead of this very advanced dual kitchen sink version.

;)

also, if you goto the KaBar side of the forum, they actually have a zombie knives themed brand. all in fun. neon lime safety green handles. good stuff.

zombies are real. the public is slowly being made aware of them. eventually all will be known.

The Biscuit stuff, is in reference to Guyon, his avatar pic until late, was a picture of a biscuit he made. It was perfect. So he took a pic and made it his avatar. Before that, it was a chicken.

I call him Biscuit, because I think its a cool nickname, and since we talk on the phone, just about daily, I now call him, El Biscuitero. Or just Biscuit. :D
