What do you fellows think of this knife:

Becker Knife & Tool, COMBAT / UTILITY KNIFE

Both pros and cons are welcome.

thank you

I purchased a Becker CU-7 the month it came out and for the money it's fantastic. I paid $51.99 for it through onestopknifeshop.com. The handles are a little bulky and smooth for me, but just right if you need to use it with gloves. The sheath alone is an Eagle style, very well made and would cost about $30.00 by itself. I like it better than my Cold Steel SRK. It's solid, stout, good looking and a heck of a deal.

The following link will take you to a lot of deep review material on the knife. Note that Cliff is our resident knife tester/destroyer. If he likes a knife it has to be tough an practical.

I think the Becker bk7 (made in u.s.a not Japan!) is a great all around workhorse. This means it will do everything you want and probably outperform higher end combat/utility/custom knives. I ordered one more to keep as extra utility around the cabin and I'm really satisfied, of course I could have scored a Mad Dog or whatever else of the highest caliber and price tag but then again it's not like they would make all the difference in the world. I would have never have imagined a package like Bk7 to come around for the cost, especially what this knife is capable of and you don't have to wait 3 years for one. :)

I like mine. Look thru the Camillus forum (they manufacture these Beckers) for other in depth reports.
