Becker Is Back!
Camillus Cutlery Co. Announces the Launch of Newly Redesigned Becker Knife and Tool Tactical Fixed Blade Models for the Year 2000.
Camillus, New York, USA-October 1, 1999-The edged creations of acclaimed wilderness survival instructor and tactical trainer Ethan Becker, the award winning Becker Knife and Tool (BK&T) line of knives is slated for production in January 2000 by Camillus Cutlery Co. of Camillus New York, USA.
The Becker Knife and Tool Co. has been at the forefront of hard use survival knives and tools since 1980. Chief designer and founder Becker, an avid outdoorsman since his youth, spent 25 years searching for the ideal "big knife" and eventually merged his two favorite bush blades-a Kukri and a WWII survival bolo to make his first and most famous edged tool, the "Machax". Ethan Becker was not content to rest after developing the Machax, and in conjunction with cutlery and survival experts worldwide has completed the development of the next generation of Becker knives for the new Millennium.
Camillus Cutlery Co. is proud to deliver the first three of many Becker designs back to cutlery users everywhere. The very effective Brute, a 9.5" blade recurved chopper, the Campanion an ultra-stout 5.25" belt knife, and the Becker TacTool, the entry tool choice of law enforcement specialists will be available first quarter 2000.
Since 1876, Camillus Cutlery Company has been providing the finest in edged tools from pocketknives to contract military weapons and bayonets. Camillus is committed to industry's growing needs with such offerings as Camillus traditional cutlery, Western brand knives, CUDA (Camillus Ultra Design Advantage) cutting edge products, and now Becker Knife and Tool.
In addition to refining these advanced designs, 0170-6 high carbon tool steel has been specially selected to give the BK&T line clear superiority in the edge-holding and toughness departments among its chief competitors. The ergonomic, trademark handle scales of the BK&T knives are molded of Swiss GV6H, a 60% glass filled thermoplastic polymer alloy for the ultimate in strength and durability. Kydex multi-carry sheath systems and a rugged black epoxy finish will be standard equipment for all models in the BK&T line.
Becker Knife and Tool in conjunction with Camillus Cutlery Co., is committed to bringing the finest tactical and survival fixed blades of uncompromising quality and performance to cutlery enthusiasts and outdoor professionals at an affordable price.
