Is anyone able to help identify this machete?
12” blade length; 17” overall
Printed Camillus, NY USA with BKT logo

Has a name ‘McCract 59400’

Looked similar to a bk6 patrolman, but has serration and a top grind into a straight point, as pictured.

Thanks for the assistance!

You are correct, just purchased! It looked like a well-done mod job, so I wasn’t sure if it was a prototype or if McCract is a known knife smith. I appreciate your response!

I’m not the biggest fan of serrations but that is a very cool design! Enjoy your new blade.

Seems like an odd choice of location for those serrations - right at the impact area for chopping. Not my style; but enjoy

Looks like only the first inch or two is sharpened on both sides?
I mean, aside from the serrations... So basically a Stabber!
Fun.

Those serrations would've been cool on the spine, they look well done. I'm sure it'll serve.

How much was it?
Oh, and welcome to Becker, where everyday is a holiday, every meal a banquet and every paycheck a fortune.
